5 tips for vetting potential landscape companies

When it comes to installing a new landscape it can be very costly, time consuming, and a headache. With the wrong company theese problems will be magnified 10x. Choosing a legitimate company will minimize, even eliminate most of theese problems.

  1. The first thing you should do when hiring a landscape company look their online reputation up. Look them up on google, Better business beauru, Facebook, and yelp at minimum to see what others are saying about them. Next door is also a great place to do research on a company.

  2. By now you should have a decenrt idea of who the company is. At this point you should ask for refrences, pictures, or any previous places they have done work at. Any reputable company should have several refrences at minimum. Make sure to call these refrences as some people will give you numbers of people who werent even happy with their work. I know crazy right?

  3. Now that you know its a legitimate company you should ask a a few questions. What is yalls procces? How long do you expect the job to take? Do the workers speak my language? The more questions you ask will help you avoid head aches later down the road with the project.

  4. Find out who will be in charge during the project. Its a good idea to meet the supervisor to make sure yalls energies match. You dont want a loud mouth, cussing rough neck if you have small children. Ask the supervisor about their own proccess, do they smoke, and other questions that may concern you.

  5. Choose the right company, sign the quote, and get started.
